Beyond Socal

This is one of my favs. I go every year and I love the Mad Hatter's Stage. I am a basshead and I live by it. Queen's Domain is another great stage and they change up the venue every year. That is the beauty of it. They play everything from bass, techno, house, and so much more.

Festival spotlights and stage breakdowns

From the colossal bass vibes of Lost Lands to the neon wonderlands of Escape, Beyond Wonderland, EDC Las Vegas, and EDSea, our festival guides dive into lineups, venue layouts, and crowd energy. We keep you informed on upcoming domestic and international festivals so you never miss a beat.

Earplugs

I cannot stress this enough: YOU SHOULD WEAR EARPLUGS. I have been doing this since 2021 and the music is loud. It will damage your ears. Save your hearing so you can hear this beautiful music into your later years. And once you get a pair, you can wear them everywhere.

Essential gear, footwear, and outfit styling

Surviving a multi-day festival starts from the ground up. We break down the best supportive footwear, protective eyewear, and versatile pashminas designed to withstand desert dust or cold nocturnal winds. Dress to express yourself while staying prepared for any venue climate.

Narcan

THIS IS A MUST-HAVE. I understand everyone wants to have a fun time with their friends, but please be safe. If you see someone passed out, with dilated pupils, non-responsive, or anything out of the ordinary, make sure they are okay. Always make sure to check out the END OVERDOSE stations as they will provide a five-minute course on how to administer Narcan and provide you with them as well.

Harm reduction, safety, and venue navigation

Taking care of each other is the heart of rave culture. Our articles provide actionable guidance on locating free hydration stations, pacing yourself through marathon sets, carrying Narcan, utilizing drug testing kits, and understanding on-site medical and law enforcement presence.
